Yep, I'm still alive.
Nope, I didn't forget you here.
I've been busy with my class, visiting with ghosts and reawakening some lost ideals of mine.

All my shops are still featuring the 25% off (prices shown are the discounted costs).
I'm still debating the whole pro thing on artfire. If it would pan out for me and I could start getting more sales there than on my etsy it would really work in my favour. Alas not yet.

Ok, now that you know I'm alive, lol, I've got to get back to things here.

frustration

Hiya all!
If you've been reading here or the updates on my fanpage, you know I've been starting on some new creations. Thing is it's frustrating to be doing this when there's been no sales in any of my online shops. No matter what else is going on, I'd like to see some movement in my online locations! I know it could be over saturation, not enough choices, or whatever it is that is motivating people to not find or shop. I know times are tight, trust me that one I get better than most. I just figured there might be room for some treats and that the way I'm taking things was a good thing. It's a crisis of confidence I guess. I just get curious as to why some of the things that sell do and why not mine. I've been told pix but I've redone them soooooooo many times. Pricing maybe, but I've got to account for time in my cost and these are labour intensive. Quality....um, these use real sterling and each piece is OOAK. And then I go back to the "is it just not my niche" question again. UG!!!!!!
Okay, enough about that! I just have a feeling that before next week is done I'll have sorted it all out and be more than fine with it all. Not sure how or why right now but..... fingers crossed.

So, time for me to sneak in a wee bit more coffee before I meet up with my son after his first day back at school.

so yeah....

Just popping in to let you know I'm still alive. I have just gotten caught up on most of my online stuff, had to ditch the original drive that caused my computer to crash after all that because it was still not working right and am watching John Mayer on ustream as I type this. Phew! So I am sorting out ideas for what's going to come next in my shops. Finally I think time will be on my side for it. Next week will be the real refocus on works of all kinds including the continuing refurb on my house (little by little I will get it done), my school work (yep still courses to go) and of course my artsy stuff I create. Hang in there as I get my feet back under me and get things really rolling again. Check in on my tumblr or facebook as I'm in there a little too much, lol. 'Til later....

hello!

So I am back after having my 320gb hard disk crash and die. It was able to be revived but lost all it's memory, lol. So, I am starting fresh on a brand new 500gb drive with the original (still cranky) as a 'backup' drive. Not sure how it's going to work as far as being reliable enough to be a backup but I'll test it for a few days to be sure! Otherwise you should be stuck with me for a while. I'm glad the big part of it is done so I can get back to focusing on new ideas and creations!

So, here's a pix of the offending drive, lol. Or if you've never opened up your computer and wondered what was in there ... it probably looks a lot like this except way dustier! Mine was so dusty it had one of the fans crusted!!!! Not a good thing and don't plan on repeating it.

On that note, I'm off to find coffee as these past nights of getting to sleep around 7a.m. and up at 11a.m. are starting to make me tired! (Especially the last 4 of dealing with all the computer issues, ug.)
