So hello! Somewhere in the midst of limping along on my knee that is peeved off at me (from the Nov/09 fall), healing a burn & a cut on my hand and fighting off this wretched cold I've been creating. I have the start of what will be a limited release. They are 3 funky cool items I am almost ready to share with you. I am so totally inspired by this! I also have found a source for sterling silver kidney earwires I am happy with & it means new pretties will be available soon as well. I am still going to be working in OOAK as repeating things over and over is not a favourite activity of mine. There will be updates to shops and a few minor changes. In that vein I was wondering if out of Etsy and Zibbet if you have a favourite or one that you buy/visit exclusively (and if so why if you don't mind sharing). I'm off  for tonight.

Hello, Hello!
I am alive and fairly recovered from my concussion though the dizziness and pain kicks in still I am so much better. I hope the new year has found you all well and surrounded with many blessings, and for those celebrating the Chinese new year on Monday as well!
So I was called out by a friend a few weeks ago about how I haven't been consistently producing for my online shop. It wasn't a big surprise, I have been resting on my laurels. Sure I've had private orders but honestly how do I expect to attract new and keep my current fans/customers interested with irregular stock times, slim to no blogging, and really no reasons for revisits. Perhaps because I make OOAK items and I have been attempting to nail down a direction and a voice and I compare myself to people I am in awe of who either have large production facilities or work in different fields than I that it feels worse than it is. I have to remember I've had 3 offers from large companies so my stuff really can't be all that bad. I will write it off as a combo of bad time management/new year blues/and perfectionism and shake it off to go on to bigger and better things.
In other notes I am looking forward to the former OWOH event now called OWOA and is looking to be held in March. I am hoping in the next month to sort out shops ( http://msnovembertuesday.deviantart.com , www.zibbet.com/MsNovemberTuesday , http://msnovembertuesday.etsy.com & www.zibbet.com/wednesdaywitch ), I don't expect my WednesdayWitch etsy shop to see much if any activity yet. I love etsy but the fees .... well not so much. I do agree that their search is easier than Zibbet but not so much that I think it's above and beyond and not worth giving a fair go.

madara uchiha mask .... done

Posted to my google+ but I'll share here too. The lines are a wee bit off (I'll say it before you diehard Naruto fans start nagging me, LOL) but not too bad for a first go at paper mache!

So now back to production and I have some fab ideas and a few have been started! The first few are going to be for my Wednesday Witch shop and I'll share a peek likely on the fan page so be sure to drop in and like to keep up to date.

up to my elbows...

Hiya all! Taking a wee coffee break while my first layer of mask dries and thought I'd pop on and say hi. I am coated in paste and newspaper ink but it's been great fun sofar. I have to say the skeleton I built for it could have been stronger (good to know for the next one) and I could have waited just a smidge longer to begin as the paste I used was too runny (though it thickened nicely) and I was terrified it was not going to hold it's form for the first bit. However it seems to be doing well, yay! Here's a peek...

Long wasy to go yes as there is so much detail that will need to be added but hey, it's a start! It's supposed to end up being a Madara Uchiha mask like this....
