Ch-ch-ch-changes

To quote Bowie there are ch-ch-ch-changes afoot here. I'm revamping and relaunching after feeling too many shops and brands are not so good for production and sometimes just add to confusion instead of taking away from it. There will be growing pains and it's going to be bumpy but I really do think it's for the better. After missing Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday this year, I've had some time to think on things and I really feel this will be a better fit for all of us.

addy change and more

So as you might have noticed our web addy has changed from http://betwixtbaubles.blogspot.ca to our current http://bonbonbaubles.blogspot.ca . Sorry for any confusion in my spur of the moment decision! I've got a new brand and I want to be able to use this as the company blog for both. It's way more work in changing links than I'd like to do but I think in the end it's going to work out the best. So please update your bookmarks and I promise to give you more notice if I should ever decide to swap around things on you again.

So, this new brand is Bon Bon Betties and it has a web home though it is a work in progress right now, but the links are working. It has a Facebook page (which needs 25 likes so I can get rid of the numbers and name it properly).  It has a Google+ page,  a Twitter and an Instagram (or @BonBonBetties). There are 3 web shops set up (Etsy,Storenvy & Zibbet) but currently only the Etsy is stocked and I suspect unless I just copy listing across all of 'em, that'll be the way it stays for now. 

I will update links here and well everywhere, it's just going to take me some time as it's me and only me doing it all. And no changes to Betwixt Baubles, all shops and fan pages are staying as is. I am in the process of moving all the stock from Betwixt Baubles Storenvy to Bon Bon Betties Etsy but that is the only change, the store will stay but empty for now. Betwixt Baubles is your witchy OOAK gothic shop and Bon Bon Betties is what happens if faux food, Bettie Page, cartoons & tattoos had a quirky kid. I hope you'll all enjoy the new brand and all it has to offer, I promise I'm working hard on getting it all set up and running. I'm now crowning myself the official low end Kimora Lee with all my web spots and 2 brands to design and create for LOL. Love you miss Kimora but I might have been too inspired!!

So with that, I'm going to go try to remember where I left off and get back to setting it all up for ya.

catching up...

Hello my lovelies!
So it's a little longer than I'd intended but look for changes to start happening in the shops. I'm going to be making use of almost every shop (with the exception of dewanda right now). So here's the cheat sheet, though I hope you'll all enjoy the adventure of each shop and its own personality....
Etsy is the higher end / OOAK items
Storenvy is is quirky / fun stop
Zibbet will be the witch / pagan place
Studio6 will be print / graphic items
Big Cartel is going to be my dolls.
It's adventure time and I can't wait to begin the journey with you all.

Changes

So as you might have noticed dear followers, there are big changes. There are more on the way!

I've decided to revamp and relaunch as Betwixt Baubles and delete MsNovemberTuesday. It was prompted by a friend who said "you know it's funny that I don't see you in the search engines and when I do it's associated with someone I know isn't you". I called them out on it as I've never had an issue finding my creations by searching any search engine and proceeded to prove them wrong. It was me who was mistaken. Long story short, its been a long afternoon that's ended up here in the wee hours of the morning with the transition well on its way. All traces of MsNovemberTuesday will soon disappear, as far as it's related to me and my creations. It's required a new Google profile and page and who knows what else by the time it's done.
Please use the links at the right side of the blog for the current and updated sites and shops. I'll change them as I update everything. I'm sorry for any confusion and grateful to have the company as I embark on this journey.

Just popping in to switch out to my new graphics. They're kind of a birthday present to myself, LOL. And yes today is my birthday so technically it's MsNovemberTuesday's as well.

So I just wanted to pop in and just let you all know there may be a postal strike here in Canada tomorrow. If this should happen I am not sure of what delays or disruptions to shipping there might be. I will keep you updated and post notices in my shops if need be. I will consider using a courier company which would be increased cost but guaranteed but I won't make any decisions until I know if the strike is happening and just what it will affect.
Otherwise I have been in design and create mode with a few new things in my shops. I am slowed down right now with a finger injury but don't expect it to be anything too disrupting. How are you liking my new banners? The fan page is slightly different in layout but I think these are the best yet and like them (if I do say so myself).
For now it's late and I'm off to do some reading. Yet another Andrew Mayne book, who if you haven't checked out on Amazon.com kindle .... well you should.

so......

I realise I keep talking about changes and changes coming soon to the shops and I've kind of left you dangling there. And well honestly you've bee dangling there for a while now and I guess I should fill you in a bit.

So, I tend to get distracted. This is why you see a range of stuff in my shops and in my background. It's also why up til about 2 years ago I changed my hair colour every few months, lol.

I love animals. So, I'll be keeping some form of pretties or toys for them.

I am terribly nervous in starting or showing my work. Silly I know but it's true.

I really like to create as I feel it. LOL how corny, I know but I've never been a fan of repeating the same thing over and over again.

So what does this have to do with my shops? Well, as I'm getting to know myself better during this current back recuperation time, I'm getting to see what and how I want to create and just what I want to be known for. This has prompted the category changes in my MsNovemberTuesday shops. Folks, I'm going to be focusing on a more free form type of creation, of OOAK (one of a kind) ideas and items back to trying to impress myself with my work and being heartbroken to see a piece sell because I've loved it that much. Not that I ever had mass production or many multiples, other than the pet charms but I've always felt the pressure to be a production person and it just isn't working for me. It's left me slightly overwhelmed as I organize and do everything with that pressure (though self imposed) over my head. This new way of thinking about my creating feels right to me and I hope you will enjoy it too!

Now having decided this and told you all, I will celebrate with a coffee and wonderfully yummy scone.
